Paris Reckoning Is Now in Print
The paperback is available today on Amazon — and it looks exactly like Paris should.
There’s something different about holding a book you wrote.
The Kindle version of Paris Reckoning has been out since July 1. It found its readers faster than I expected — fifteen reviews, 4.4 stars, a week that included Treasure of Saint-Lazare hitting #1 in three Amazon categories simultaneously. I’m still a little surprised by all of it.
But today the paperback arrived on Amazon, and it’s a different kind of moment. Jane Dixon-Smith designed the cover, and she got it exactly right — Sandi Brennan’s silhouette against a Paris skyline that manages to feel both beautiful and threatening. The kind of cover that earns its place on a shelf.
