Paris Reckoning: 99 Cents Starts Today
And Treasure of Saint-Lazare is still free through Sunday
When I sent Wednesday’s post about Treasure of Saint-Lazare, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What happened was better than I’d expected.
Within twenty-four hours, Treasure had hit #1 on Amazon in three free categories simultaneously — Historical Thrillers, International Mystery & Crime, and Historical World War II Fiction, and #60 among all free books. It’s still free through Sunday, and it’s still ranked in all three.
I’m telling you this not to boast but because it changes the conversation about Paris Reckoning. These aren’t obscure categories. The readers who found Treasure this week are exactly the readers Sandi Brennan was written for.
Today is the day to find out why.
Starting today, Paris Reckoning is 99 cents through July 31.
The story: Sandi Brennan is a decorated Army veteran and CIA case officer who followed her muse to Paris — and found herself in the middle of something far larger than a missing partner’s secrets. A hunt that runs from the Catacombs of Paris to a bizarre replica sailing ship in Luxembourg, then back again.
Eddie Grant is in it too. If you read Treasure this week, you already know what he’s capable of. In Paris Reckoning, he’s in the chair.
Readers have given it 4.8 stars in its first three weeks. I’ll take that.

Treasure of Saint-Lazare is still free through Sunday July 27
Three #1 Amazon categories. If you haven’t grabbed it yet, today and tomorrow are your last chances.
Read them in either order. Steve would probably still tell you to start with Treasure because it's the entry point to the entire series — but at this point he’s not really in a position to insist.
